Emerging from Lazy

As I opened Blogger today, I wished that I had some pictures to post of our spring break. On second thought, here's all I would have:

9:00 am- All are still asleep. You might get pics of splayed out bodies drooling. Great, huh?

12:00 noon-Everybody is still in their pjs and our hair looks like it's been done by Rod Stewart's salon.

1:00 pm- 3 bodies dressed and combed (showered?) in a car looking for someplace that's serves breakfast all day.

3:00 pm- These same bodies sitting/laying on the beach all wrapped up since it's still pretty chilly for the beach. (As my brother says, though, "A bad day at the beach is still better than a good day anywhere else.")

6:00 pm- A hungry family heads out in search of food again.

10:00-12:00- Lazy people laying on the couch looking for something good on the 75 cable channels.

Riveting stuff! The truth is that we were completely and wonderfully lazy. We enjoyed time with each other with no outside activities, no time line and no expectations. I'm always ready for some structure by the time a break is over, but it was fantastic while it lasted!

Yeah!
I just love a week at the beach of eating, sleeping, and channel surfing!!
Welcome back to reality.
I can hear the surf and smell the ocean breeze.
Sigh!
