Hey, friends! I want to humbly ask a favor of you. Would you pray for me this week?
I'm actually going to disappear (at least in the cyber world) this week to work on a writing project. I usually love to work ahead, and it gives me a feeling of peace to have a firm grip on a deadline. This time, though, the deadline has snuck up on me, and I'm feeling really, really stressed.
Please pray for God's words to fill my heart and mind, clarity, and a longer-than-usual attention span. Please pray that God's heart for people would beat loudly in my ears.
I'd love to pray for you, too, because even though I'm not blogging I'll be spending lots of time on my knees. Leave your request, and I'll make sure to cover you as you're covering me!

Can I Ask a Favor?

I would love it if you would pray for us as we de-clutter, deal with some long-delayed home projects, prepare for our first-ever garage sale, and just really increase our self-discipline in a variety of areas (home, money, time, health, stuff...).
To a passer-by it would probably seem like we're taking on too much, but I have the sense that God is with us in this and that this push will allow us to do other things that we don't have the time, energy, or space to do now... (space in our house, our minds, our schedules).
There are big things coming, and we need to be ready for them.
I will be praying for you Amy. I would appreciate prayer for a job. I have been out of work for over 2 years now. My unemployment was exhausted this last March. I have no income coming in. I am also willing to move if God wants me to so I can get a job. If He wants me to move, the funds would have to be provided. To be disciplined to do the things that need to be done.
Thank you.
Elizabeth
Amy, praying for you as I know how deadlines like that can sneak up :-) Pray for our family, that we trust God alone, as my husband started his new job today after being laid off at the end of May....a great opportunity, but also a great risk.
Hi Sweet Amy,
I am praying for you and your deadline today. How is it coming along?
May you have inspired thoughts, God-breathed words, clear insights and a quickly finished project you can feel good about.
Love you friend~
