Nurture

Sometimes I forget...

Amidst the email dinging, the tv blaring, the electric bass and french horn vibrating the walls.

Sometimes I forget...

Amidst my calendar filling, my brain spinning and my hands whirring.

Sometimes I forget that relationships need nurturing.

They can't function on auto pilot. They can't be sustained in distraction. They can't thrive without feeding.

Sometimes I forget, and I need a place like this to remember.

That time and spontaneity, rest and quiet, talking and laughing nurture relationships.

I feel like this, at this very moment. Been so busy...being busy.

Resting in the nurturing arms of Christ is where you will find me and my family this weekend. :)

Great pictures. Nurturing, focus and time -- good reminder. It's so easy to get distracted. Thanks for the reminder of what's important.

Oh girl! I could use a beautiful place like that right about now. It's so true--I believe we are probably the most distracted generation ever.

We NEED time away from distractions so that our relationships can thrive. I pray God allows us all to have the peaceful, down time we all yearn for and crave.

Gorgeous photos!
