The Point of No Return

There comes a point when we all have to decide. Will we follow Jesus or not?

Despite the hard teachings.

Despite having to give up self.

Despite the grumblings of others.

I've been reading John 6 this morning. Following Jesus' teaching in vs. 53-58 where He explains about His flesh being the bread of Life and His blood also providing eternal life, some of his discples grumbled and said that these were teachings too hard to accept.

"From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.

'You do not want to leave too, do you?' Jesus asked the Twelve.

Simon Peter answered him, 'Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We believe and know that you are the Holy One of God.'" John 6:67-70

I'm at that point. The point of no return. The place where I want to be with Jesus

No matter how hard it is.

No matter how much self struggles for its own life.

No matter how much those around me grumble.

I love Him, and I know He has the words of Life. There's no turning back.

Beautifully said!

My cross I'll carry, 'til I see Jesus...

I KNOW my cross(es) pale in comparison to the cross He bore for us.

Praying we all live His point of no return.
