Do you have a friend who is just the right mix? The right mix of funny, serious, understanding, truth-telling, godly without being self-righteous?
I'm blessed to have many, but I was with a whole group of women this weekend that just blessed my socks off. The women of Southside Church in Virginia rock!
Now please don't hate me because I know that I had more fun than you last weekend. (JK! But it's probably true.) We had wonderful times in worship and digging into God's Word followed by the world's most raucous alcohol-free pajama party.
You see how hard I'm laughing, right?
It also just happened to be my birthday, so I pretended that they had planned the whole thing for me--cartwheel contest, karoke and all.
