Great words of encouragement. "'No' may mean 'not yet.'" I also appreciate your illustrations of God's protection. I've found that when I surrender my disappointment and trust Him, I enjoy the detour and often I get the other too at a later time. Thanks Amy.
Amy sorry video or not (which I thought it wasn't, by the way - smile), the message spoke volumes. Perseverance is a tough one like getting to the finish line of a marathon or making the time to exercise to stay healthy. But I remember someone putting it in perspective for me a long time ago with an odd question and answer. "How do you eat an elephant? One, small bite at a time." It just reinforces your message. Thanks!
Thanks for that encouragement, Amy! Good word.
Amy - thank you so much - I really needed to hear that message tonight. I am in the middle of so many trials in my life right now - and my nerves are wearing me down. After losing my home, I had to move back to my parents with 2 of my children. My health is declining, my daughter has become very ill and my son is autistic. We homeschool and we had a routine of things - though since moving here things have been turned upside down - my parents are both older and I also have a 50 yr old sister who is down syndrome still at home. I know God brought me here to help out and I know He is what is holding me up through all of this - I just get so tired some days. I have been fighting my disability for 3 1/2 years - I have 11 doctors who have listed me as disabled - but I keep getting turned down, I have lost everything but my faith, my children and a few of our things - but I can tell you I know in God's time this will happen for my family and right now God is using me to take care of my parents and sister. Please say an extra prayer for me and my family and thanks for all that you do. Lara Polk, Cropwell, AL
