Dear Amy, I wanted to see/hear your video on living your dreams but when I went to your website, a song came on and I couldn't listen to you. Just now, the song has stopped. I wonder if anyone else had this problem. In the meantime I read about what your church did on Christmas Eve. I think my initial reaction was the same as yours! Bless you and your church family as you shine brightly in this world. Eva

Thanks for alerting me, Eva. I took the other video down so the new one won't be drowned out!

Amy - Awesome devotion about our dreams. I can't believe it has been so long since you spoke at our retreat. I wish you could come back!

Amy - what if you're in a place in life where you don't even have any dreams anymore?

Amy, thank you for this devotion. I have been waiting so long for my dream that I was beginning to believe that it was "false hope." I can see how the enemy works to make us give up and makes us feel defeated. I now have renewed hope that God will do immeasurably more than I could ask or imagine.

Amy,
Thank you for allowing our Lord to speak thru you. I needed to hear this as I have been so disillusioned with my singleness lately. I am trusting in the Lord so that He may reveal what dreams I should hold on to, work at and wait on. God bless you!

Rita,
Thanks for your encouragement! I'd love to be back with you all. That's one of those retreats that fills me with wonderful memories.

Hugs to you!

Stacy,
Thank you so much for being vulnerable and real enough to ask the question I know lots of people are wrestling with today.

Before we can even begin dreaming God's dreams for us again, I believe we have to pray that He will restore hope and trust. Our highest hope has to be in Jesus Himself, so focusing on who Jesus is and the promises He made (a promise book from the Christian book store is a great place to start)is essential.

He loves you and has big dreams for you, but life sure can knock the stuffing out of us can't it? I'm praying Ephes. 3:16-21 for you today.

Loved your devo and your video tonight really confirmed what God has been telling me...He is preparing me, so I must trust, learn and obey as the journey continues! Thanks for being a voice for Him!! I too am a former teacher...I left the classroom 10 years ago when my oldest was born. I assumed I'd return to teaching...I was right, but now it's in a different place (I homeschool) and a different subject (women's studies at our church as well.) Thankful His dreams are rising to the surface! Thanks again for the reminder to trust in His plan!

Amy,

This couldn't come at a better time. I have a couple of dreams that I have been wrestling with and I want to pursue the one that God desires me to do, not the one that I desire to do. I am going to take the little step and see what happens. I am going to start praying that in the little things I see Jesus and obey what he is speaking to my soul. Thank you for the encouragement.

blessings,
Tricia

Amy -My wife sent me your post: "New Dreams for a New Year". I don't know that I've ever read an article so short that really touched the heart of an inner-person subject as yours did. Extremely well written and explained. Great work -please keep going.
