I've listed some of my topics below with their descriptions. I am always open and excited, though, about developing new messages with your group in my heart and mind. I especially love to develop new messages from a specific scripture. God's Word is powerful, and I look forward to seeking Him together!
1 SESSION KEY-NOTES:
The Untying of a Straight-Laced Girl
Where are you in your spiritual journey? Amy tells her personal “God story” with humor and authenticity as she challenges each woman to:
• Replace her best efforts with true goodness.
• Elevate her awareness of God’s active work in her life.
• Develop a deep belief that God is interested in her personally.
• Strengthen her determination to develop a story that outlasts her life.
Rest for the Very Weary
If someone asked you to rate your weariness on a scale of 1 to 10, how would you respond? In our fast-paced, microwave-ready culture, most women would answer with a number near 10! Amy will help women to:
• Restore focus on relationships over tasks.
• Find places and times for rest in their everyday lives.
• Construct schedules that support their values.
• Renew the joy they experience in life.
Same Girl, Different Generation
Even in our churches, we are often separated by age. However, God’s plan to transmit His truths from one generation to the next has always included a connection between generations. Amy uses Titus 2:3-5 and a, fun fashion show (optional) to teach women to:
• Identify the strengths and characteristics of each generation.
• Recognize their own needs as well as see how they could meet another generation’s needs.
• Connect inter-generationally through communication, ministries and mentoring relationships.
Connected: Building Out of the Box Relationships
How is a busy woman supposed to build friendships? We were created for deep relationships and intimate connections, but there is a war against the very thing our souls crave. Amy uses personal stories and timeless truths to help women to:
• Gain a new perspective on what is essential in friendship.
• Find a balance between Facebook time and face time.
• Identify practical ways to build authentic, intimate relationships.
• Connect deeply with God and expand connections with others.
Feasting on Life’s Leftovers
Sometimes a look at life leaves you feeling like you’ve been stuck with the leftovers. This session is an encouraging look at hurt, disappointment and suffering from a new perspective. Amy encourages women by guiding them to:
• Realize that even hard experiences aren’t wasted.
• Value each circumstance as an opportunity for growth.
• Recognize the value of thankfulness.

This is the Life! Extreme Makeover: Life Edition
How many of us would pass up a complete makeover? In these messages, Amy uses Colossians 3:1-17 to reveal God as the original King of makeovers. Amy uses a focus on scripture, real-life stories and practical applications to lead women to:
• Acquire practices to focus their minds and hearts on things with true value.
• Embrace the power to eliminate current habits that are hurtful and counterproductive.
• Implement new ways of living that produce peace.
• Position themselves to be a source of joy and encouragement to others.
King of Hearts: Jesus, Lover of a Woman’s Soul
Does God truly care about every season of a woman’s life? Amy follows Mary of Bethany and her close friendship with Jesus to find the answer to this question. Come away encouraged by Jesus’ extravagant love for Mary and how their relationship teaches women today to:
• Intentionally implement a simple study method for understanding and applying the Bible.
• Find sources of strength and improve their responses during times of stress, disappointment and grief.
• Diminish their need to meet the expectations of others while defining positive goals for growth.
• Increase their love for God and those around them.
Chick Flicks: Lessons from the School of Sisterhood
Have you ever longed for another woman who will invest in your life? Amy’s life has been transformed by the power of Christ and by the women that He has put in her path. This session should minister both to women that God is calling to mentor and to those who long for a godly older woman to lead the way. Amy helps women to:
• Rediscover their need for connection to other women.
• Investigate God’s plan in scripture for growth and life-change.
• Identify the characteristics of a mentor who will nurture them in their phase of life.
• Become a mentor who sets goals, leads and loves.
How Bright is Your Light?
How can we be used to change our world? I Thessalonians contains scripture that is filled with practical application and wisdom for today’s Christian. Amy teaches key principles in this book and leads women to:
• Establish purpose and live it out in their workplaces, homes and churches.
• Connect with those around them in fresh, deep ways.
• Identify ways to make a difference in their sphere of influence.
• Build habits that lead to joy, peace and fulfillment.
HOLIDAY MESSAGES

• Overcoming holiday overload and preserving time to enjoy others.
• Developing activities for real connection with family and friends.
• Evaluating Christmas traditions and preserving those with value.
• Experiencing the reality of God’s presence at Christmas.
White Christmas: Holiday Housekeeping for the Heart
What is your standard for a wonderful Christmas? For many women, perfection is the standard by which we measure our holidays, but perfectionism sets us up for disappointment and struggle. Amy encourages women to:
• Embrace a new standard for measuring the success of the holidays.
• Experience the pleasure of Christmas with a focus on relationships.
• Express their true, inner selves with joy and freedom.
